Lead Tour Guide
Our guide Stephen is a Dublin native. He’s very proud of his city and loves his job showing what he loves about Dublin to visitors. Stephen’s background is in acting. He trained at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and has worked in major West End theatrical productions. He returned home a few years ago as he couldn’t resist the charm of his home town. He now mainly focuses on guiding and is a well known voiceover artist. He is very passionate about what he does and he might even do a little acting when you’re on his tour!
Each route has been carefully curated to bring another side of Ireland to the attention of our guests combined with key destination highlights. Each route is sure to engage, energise and motivate and create Instagram worthy pics!
The Phoenix (2.5 Hours / €65 PP)
Starting off in Dublin’s historic city centre, this is our shortest cycle and yet our most packed itinerary! Your first stop is Dublin Castle where your guide brings the history of the castle to life. You then pass by a wealth of attractions including St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Guinness, IMMA and Kilmainham Gaol, before arriving at the War Memorial Gardens. Here you will start a very special river cycle that brings you to Dublin’s magnificent Phoenix Park. The park is the biggest city park in Europe and is home to 300 wild deer. You will take in all of the highlights of this magical park before stopping for tea with your guide. This is a cycle to never forget.
The Southsider (3.5 Hours / €85 PP)
The Southern Coastal route will take you through Irishtown and onwards to Sandymount Strand, immortalised in James Joyce’s Ulysses, and this is where you will have your first glimpse of the glorious Dublin coastline. Then you will head along a beautiful cycle route taking in the coast as you go, before arriving in Dun Laoghaire, with its magnificent pier and ‘The Forty Foot, a favourite spot for Dublin’s brave sea swimmers! After that it’s onto the picturesque Dalkey and Killiney, where breathtaking views of the Wicklow mountains await. You will cycle to the top of Killiney Hill very easily on our electric bikes where a truly memorable vista awaits.
The Northsider (4.5 Hours / €90 PP)
Our longest cycle takes you out to the historic and truly magical Howth. Here you will see a Medieval Castle, a 4000 year old Dolmen and a gorgeous fishing harbour. There will be views to take your breath away. You will see all the way back to Dublin city and if you’re lucky will be able to see 100 miles north to the stunning Mountains of Mourne. Howth is a stones throw from the hustle and bustle of Dublin and yet you are transported to a place that could be on the West coast of Ireland with its huge cliffs and sleepy atmosphere. An exciting adventure awaits!
